Danfoss IXA participates in PPR 13 meetings at IMO in London
Our Research and Development Director Thomine Stolberg-Rohr is participating in the IMO’s Subcommittee on Pollution Prevention and Response (PPR 13) in London. Danfoss IXA is proud to be represented together with the Danish delegation in these IMO meetings.
An important topic on the agenda is the review and development of NOx emission requirements in MARPOL Annex VI and the NOx Technical Code 2008.
Since NOx emissions will be a future challenge even as the maritime industry transitions to new fuels, the discussions about future requirements for NOx emission monitoring, control, and guidelines for exhaust gas after-treatment with SCR systems are of great importance.
As a key player in innovative technology for continuous emission monitoring, Danfoss IXA is pleased to take part in these important discussions at IMO PPR 13.
