Danfoss IXA attends follow-up meeting on the IMO Net Zero Framework
Danfoss IXA participated together with the Danish Maritime Authority, Danske Maritime, and their members in a follow-up meeting on the situation at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) following the breakdown of the Net Zero framework in October 2025.
Jacob Haugaard from the Danish Maritime Authority provided a clear insight into the political dynamics behind the agreement’s breakdown. Despite the recent setbacks, the work on the Net Zero framework has not been abandoned, and the meeting highlighted the need for strong collaboration and significant efforts ahead of the next milestone, MEPC 84 in April 2026.
